ICRA Getting Ready for 2019

Iowa Collision Industry

The ICRA is ramping up industry education in 2019. January starts the year with an Estimating Roundtable Saturday, January 12 in Des Moines. This is an interactive day focusing on estimating procedures. This program started in Nebraska and is making a difference. The grassroots initiative is assisting shop owners and estimators to get back to the basics of “doing things right”. James Rodis with the Woodhouse Collision Center in Blair Nebraska is working with NABA President Dave Yard to bring more ’roundtables’ to our industry. They have had several in Nebraska and have started them in Kansas. The ICRA had one Estimating Roundtable last fall and the feedback we got was very good.

Collision Week 2018 Labor Rate Survey

Hello Midwest    –   PLEASE PARTICIPATE IN COLLISION WEEK’S 2018 LABOR STUDY

As we all know data is a very important tool for our trade.  Collision Week has asked us to participate in their 2018 Labor Rate Study.  All respondents can opt-in to receive a free copy of the research when it is completed.  At the request of many   collision repair facility readers who desire to better understand how collision repair facilities are charging for non-structural and structural repairs on vehicles with aluminum components, we have again included a section asking detailed questions about aluminum charges.

The link to the online survey is:

Last year’s report is available at:

This is  important.   Please participate in this survey.
